The application must be completed and signed by the student registering for the class. Before beginning the application process, consider a few things you will need for your online studies:
* Computer with speakers and a webcam
* Computer that is less than five years old and running Windows 10 or higher
* Reliable high-speed internet with the Chrome browser installed
* Own email account and knowledge of using it properly
* Missouri Photo ID that includes your birthdate and a Missouri address
* Ability to complete a minimum of five hours of study every week
* Willingness to learn and study for your high school equivalency test
In order to begin MOLearns, you must first fill out an online application. All information on the application is confidential.
Placement Testing
Once our office receives your application, a staff member will contact you by email with information on how and where to take your placement tests. Students will be required to score a minimum of 501 on the reading placement test to qualify for the MOLearns program.
Starting Classes
Classes are ongoing, and new students are added to classes twice a month. All students are required to have current placement tests in reading, math, and language on file prior to beginning classes. The only exception is if a student has passed a sub-test of the HiSET or GED test.
